青年赖子伟2023年7月左边头部突然疼痛，咳嗽吐痰有血，经过医生检查后，证实他患上鼻咽癌第四期，目前他进行化疗和电疗。他接受治疗后无法工作没有收入，耗尽了积蓄，妻子纪紫茹唯有对外求助。
赖子伟（43岁），来自大山脚。他头部突然疼痛，尤其是晚上头痛至让他无法入眠，咳嗽和吐痰也出血，妻子马上送他入院检查，医药报告显示，他患上鼻咽癌第四期，其左边头额长有肿瘤，影响了神经线，造成出现疼痛。
由於其病况紧急，他本身也没有购买保险，当时亲友们帮忙筹集约2万令吉的医药费给他，让他去医院进行三次化疗疗程（6支针）。由於没有能力再自付化疗费，加上家里需要开销，他在医生推荐下，转去槟城中央医院继续化疗，电疗则在玛丽安山癌症医院进行。
赖子伟需要进行35次电疗，他已完成10次，预计明年1月将完成全部疗程。医生根据他的病情判断，他需要再进行多5支的化疗针。因多次电疗及化疗，他左耳失聪及左眼视力逐渐模糊。
他原本是在坟场当园艺工作，病后无法工作，经济陷入困境。他与妻子纪紫茹（34岁)育有1名6岁女儿，妻子本来在家当保姆，每月赚取1200令吉，自从丈夫生病后，她需要载送进出医院，被逼停工。
七里香接获求助后派员前往家访，经过审核了解后，本会议决拨出1000令医药援助金给他，以减轻其生活负担。
支票由本会副总务丘欣燕代表移交赖子伟妻子纪紫茹。
LAI CHOO WEI (43 years old), suffered a sudden pain on the left side of his head in July 2023, and coughed and spitted blood. After a doctor’s examination, it was confirmed that he had stage four nasopharyngeal cancer. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy and electrotherapy.
he has completed 10 and is expected to complete the entire course of treatment in January of year 2024.The doctor judged based on his condition that he needed 5 more chemotherapy injections. Due to repeated electrotherapy and chemotherapy, he lost hearing in his left ear and gradually blurred vision in his left eye.
Qi Li Xiang Charity allocated RM1000 （medical assistance） to him to reduce his medical burden.
