杨丽芳（67岁），来自北海。她患有高血压、胆固醇、尿酸、糖尿病已久，去年被医生诊断患上肾病，需要洗肾，每月洗肾费约3000令吉。
她与70岁丈夫本来是在巴刹当小贩，卖杂货为生，生活还算过去，她患上肾病后，洗肾费加重他们负担，她也无法与丈夫外出摆摊。
七里香接获求助派员前往家访，经过了解和审核后，本会议决拨出500令吉医药援助金给杨丽芳，以减轻其医药负担。
THE QI LI XIANG CHARITY PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO THE POOR AND SICK PATIENT
YEOH LAI FONG (67 years old) from Butterworth, she needs dialysis three times a week, and the huge cost of dialysis puts pressure on the family’s finances.
She has suffered from high blood pressure, cholesterol, uric acid and diabetes for a long time. Last year, she was diagnosed with kidney disease by a doctor and needs dialysis. The monthly dialysis fee is about RM3,000.
She and her 70-year-old husband used to be street vendors selling groceries at the market. But after she developed kidney disease, the dialysis fees increased their burden, and she was unable to go out with her husband to set up stalls.
The Qi Li Xiang Charity has decided to allocate RM500 as medical assistance fund to reduce the burden of patient.
